Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Tradeify collects, uses, and protects your information. Tradeify is currently live in South Africa. Contact hello@tradeify.app with any privacy questions.

Tradeify is built to help tradespeople manage bookings, quotes, invoices, and job proof. We collect only the information needed to provide and improve the service, and we keep customer money out of the Tradeify platform.
Information we collect
- Account details such as your name, email address, business name, and login activity.
- Workspace data you add to Tradeify, including customers, bookings, quotes, invoices, photos, signatures, notes, and job records.
- Device and usage information that helps us keep the service reliable, secure, and performant.
- Billing and subscription data processed through our payment providers.
How we use information
- To create and operate your account, provide the Tradeify service, and send important service emails.
- To generate booking pages, quotes, invoices, reminders, and evidence packages on your behalf.
- To improve the product, diagnose issues, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
- To comply with legal, tax, accounting, and record-keeping obligations.
How we share information
- We use service providers to run the app, including: Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (email delivery), Paystack (payment processing for South African customers), and hosting infrastructure. We share only the information each provider needs to perform their function.
- Some features — such as AI-drafted quotes and profile text — send the relevant text you enter to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a draft response. This text is processed to return a result to you and is not used by the provider to train their models.
- Tradeify does not store complete card or bank details. Payment information is handled directly by our payment providers.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to investigate fraud or abuse.
Retention and deletion
- We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation or deletion requests.
- Some records may be retained longer if required for tax, accounting, compliance, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
Your choices
- You can update profile details in the app and manage your account settings at any time.
- You can request access, correction, or deletion of your account data by contacting support.
- If you no longer want product emails, you can unsubscribe from non-essential messages where available.
