Do customers need a login to read updates?

No. The email links to a page with the full update thread for that job. No account or app download needed.

Can I send multiple updates on the same job?

Yes. Each update is added to the thread in order. The customer gets a new email for each one, and can see the full history at the same link.

Is the update thread linked to the invoice?

Yes. The customer's invoice view shows a link to the job updates thread so they can check both in one place.
